Xochilt Long, a long-time resident of Temecula and beloved teacher of special needs students, died on August 6, 2012, at the age of 64. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; sons Omar and Dominie; daughter Tamar; parents Jose and Luisa Toscano; brothers Jose, Noel, Rico, and Oscar Toscano; and sisters Irma and Yolanda Toscano. Xochilt worked for the Temecula School District for 38 years and was married to her loving husband for 36 years. She was an active member of St. Catherine of Alexander Catholic Church in Temecula as well as a dedicated mother to her children and seven grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, but most important was her family and her faith. A funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Friday, August 10, 2012, at 11:00am.
