MSgt Thomas V. McKeon Sr. USMC, Retired Thomas V. McKeon, 81, of Menifee, CA passed peacefully on July 23, 2015, and is now in the loving arms of our Lord. Tom was born in Quincy, MA on January 21, 1934. He was the son of Matthew and Mae McKeon, the sixth of eight children, and the loving husband of Joan Freeth McKeon. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1953. He joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18, and served his country for thirty years, including service in Vietnam. He was a life member of VFW, Fallbrook, CA, a member of the American Legion, and past secretary of the Top Three Military Retired Association. Tom was a kind, friendly and loving man, and always will be remembered for his delightful sense of humor. He is survived by Joan, his wife of sixty years, his children Mary Anne Bruce (John) of Oceanside, CA; The Reverend Thomas V. McKeon, Jr (Sandy) of McAllen, TX; Timothy McKeon ( Debbie) of Carson City, Nevada; Kathleen Zavala (Juvencio) of Oceanside, CA; and, Tricia Hawk (Claye) of Temecula, CA; his grandchildren Thomas, Scott, Emily, Jackie, Matthew, Katie, Elizabeth, and Catherine; great grandchildren Mia and Johnny; and, his sister Kathleen Hickey (Gerry).
