TERESA AMANDA COTA Age 54, passed away from complications of ovarian cancer on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born on Christmas Day in 1958. Born and raised in Hermosa Beach, California, moving to Temecula in 1989. She was the 'lunch lady' at Rancho Elementary School for over 20 years. Her infectious smile and sweet disposition touched many lives. She was courageous in her fight and she inspired so many through her battle with cancer. Her motto was BELIEVE. She enjoyed camping, quilting, exercising and gambling. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was a Christian, and she always saw the good in other people. Teresa will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry; daughter, Laurene Cota; daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Brian Bowen; son and daughter-in-law, Dominic and Margarita Cota; three grandchildren, Jewels, Brody and Dominic Jr.; mother, Sally; sister, Chrissy; and brother, Matt. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith: Finally, there is laid up for me a crown of Righteousness.
