Sherry Domonique
Ross
Dec 31, 1986 — Jun 19, 2026
England Family Mortuary, Inc.
1:00 - 3:00 pm (Pacific time)
Sherry Domonique Ross was born on December 31, 1986, to the proud parents, Berry
Muhammad Ross and Cynthia Denise Ross.
Sherry received her early education at Revival Time Christian Academy, a private Christian
school. She attended Long Beach Jordan during her junior high years and later graduated from
Carson Senior High School.
Sherry had a creative spirit and a heart full of joy. She enjoyed writing poetry, spoken word,
skating, and spending time spoiling her beloved dog, Tiny.
Following the passing of her cherished brother, Kevin, Sherry began experiencing seizures just
two months later. She courageously endured this illness for more than 19 years, demonstrating
remarkable strength and perseverance throughout her journey.
On the evening of June 18, 2026, Sherry peacefully went to sleep and awakened in the presence
of the Lord on June 19, 2026.
A defining moment in Sherry’s life came when she rededicated her life to Christ through baptism
on December 14, 2025. During the following six months, family and friends witnessed an
extraordinary transformation in her life. She embraced a renewed love for God, experienced a
fullness of joy, and displayed a remarkable change in attitude that inspired those around her.
Sherry especially looked forward to her Tuesday night Connection Group, where she enjoyed
discussing each week’s sermon, growing in her faith, and sharing fellowship with others. She had
also recently begun a one-on-one discipleship study, eager to deepen her relationship with Jesus
Christ and continue to grow in His Word.
Her radiant smile would light up any room she entered, and her kindness and warmth left a
lasting impression on everyone she met. Through her faith, love, and joyful spirit, Sherry
touched countless lives and inspired all who knew her.
Sherry leaves behind a legacy of faith, courage, love, and perseverance. She leaves to cherish her
memory her father, Berry Muhammad Ross; her mother, Cynthia Denise Ross; and a host of
uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother,
Kevin Deshon Ransom; her grandmothers, Annie Mae Wolfe and Ethel Mae Ross; and her
grandfathers, John Wolfe Sr. and Perry Ross Sr.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in the assurance that she is now at peace
in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
