Shalise (Lisa) Nakita White, 32, joined her mother Nakita White in Heaven July 14, 2020. Lisa came into this world premature weighing a mere 2lbs, 7 oz., she fit inside the palm of her grandfather's hand. Born October 13, 1988 to Nakita Louise White, Oceanside, CA and Aaron Bernard White, South Bend, Indiana. Lisa was a survivor and a fighter spending the first month of her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care (NIC) Unit. She met all growth mile stones and continued to celebrate life annually with the other NIC Unit babies every year for the first three years of her life. Lisa was raised by her grandparents in Oceanside, CA. She graduated from Vista High School. Lisa was lovingly called "Nik" by her Pop-pop and Lisa by most of her aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa had a beautiful soul. She was smart, loving, caring and compassionate. Shaneka said, they switch roles, Lisa was more of a big sister to her. If you needed anything Lisa would be there for you. Despite what or who Lisa may have been up against, she would not back down until she said her peace, she would not be silenced. Lisa had a passion for fashion and wanted to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. She loved to read, write and sing. Her memory will be cherished by, five sisters: Shaneka (Jason) Bell, Laquisha Alberts (precede her in death), Shadacia White of Lewisville, Texas, Riona (Ronnie) Edmonds of Highland, IL; and, Aryn White of South Bend, Indiana. Four brothers: Deshawn White, Austin, TX; Price White, South Bend, IN; Isaiah White, Indianapolis, IN; and Aaron White Jr., Decatur, MI. One niece B'kayla White, Oceanside, CA; Three nephews: Johnathan, Jerimiah, Jayden Bell of Vista. Grandmothers: Barbara (Wilmer, preceded in death) Farrington of Temecula, CA, Della (James, preceded in death) White of South Bend Indiana. Four uncles: Patrick Farrington, Escondido, CA, Edmond "Dennis" White, Ft. Myers, FL; James, Kenny (Joyce), and Michael White, all of South Bend, IN. Five aunts: Anna Farrington, Temecula, CA; Adrian (Bobby) Bryant, Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Karen, Michelle and Yolanda White, all of South Bend, IN.
