Ron (Ronnie) was born to Ora Nelson (deceased) in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in McCallsburg, Iowa. He was a past resident of Gravois Mills, Missouri; Westminster, California; and most recently of Murrieta/Lake Elsinore, California. He passed away in Murrieta, California of heart disease. Ron was predeceased by his first wife, Janice Welke-Sampson; and is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Natalyn and Thomas Bergman, grandchildren Brad, Ashley, Ryan Bergman; ex-wife Linda Sampson and daughter Jennifer Sampson-Martinez; and grandson Jaiden Martinez; ex-fathers-in-law, Don Tucker and Charles Rogers, ex-brothers-in-law Robert Welke and John Rogers; ex-sister-in-law Susan Craig, favorite Uncle Jessie Sampson; loving companion Doris Beeler; and many other dear family and friends.
