Rolando was born in Manila, Philippines, to Damiana Espiritu San Diego and Batas Caparas Riego de Dios. He carried with him a deep pride in his heritage, a strong work ethic, and a quiet strength that shaped the way he lived and loved. His life was marked by devotion to his family, faith, perserverance through every season.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Zenaida de Los Reyes; five (5) children, Ronald James, Jennifer Joan, Robert Joh, Joyceline Angelica, and Josephine; his eight (8) grandchildren; Martin, Kyle, Cartier, Jacquelyn, Michael, Jhonique, Jasmine, Nicole, and Christopher; and his nine (9) great-grandchildren; Reece, Coco, Blythe, Bradley, Brycen, Waylon, Vincent, Landon and Autumn.

A private service will be held at England Family Mortuary in Temecula, California. In accordance with his wishes, Rolando will be cremated and his daughter Joy and Ray will lovingly bring his ashes back to his homeland, where they will be received by his sister. Together with his beloved wife, they will place his ashes in his final resting place at the mausoleum at Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Following the service, a private reception to share fellowship and remembrance at Temecula Old Town Loft.
