Richard “Ricky” Patrick Lyons, age 30, of Murrieta, CA passed away on August 29, 2026. He was born on March 2nd, 1996 and lived a life marked by kindness, love for family, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He was also free-spirited with a bit of a wild side.

He was known by those who loved him as a kind young man whose gentle spirit and reckless attitude left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was also very generous and would help anyone in need. His life, though far too short, was filled with meaningful relationships, cherished memories, and the love of those closest to him.

Ricky found joy in the outdoors and especially loved hiking and camping. These interests gave him time to enjoy the beauty of nature and the company of family and friends. Whether he was spending time outside, or simply being with the people he cared about, Ricky carried himself with a warm and kind heart.

He is survived by his mother, Wendy Sanchez and stepfather Dean Sanchez; his father, Richard Lyons; his brothers, Gabriel and Michael Lyons; his aunts, Mattina Chambers and her husband Bill, and Katherine Fuentes and her husband Tom; his uncles, Jeff Lyons, and Charles Maynard and his wife Jenny; and many cousins on both sides of the family.

Ricky’s family and friends will remember him for the love he gave, the kindness he showed, and the craziness he carried in his daily life. He will be remembered for his devotion to those he loved and for the many moments of laughter, companionship, and care that he shared with them. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Though his time on earth was brief, Richard Patrick Lyons, leaves behind a lasting impression that will not be forgotten. His life was one of love, family, and faith, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
