Richard Julian Ponce, at the age of 78, passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones on November 20, 2023 in Temecula, California. After a courageous battle against cancer, Richard joined his wife, the love of his life Stella, in heaven. Their ashes will be scattered together to be with each other for all eternity.

Richard, the only son amongst three daughters, was born to Julian and Leonor Ponce on September 18, 1945, in Trona, California. He grew up to be a hardworking man with great integrity.  He was full of fun and laughter and loved cooking, eating, entertaining, and most of all spending time with his family.  Everyone knew him as friendly, thoughtful, generous, and kind-hearted. He was a great host and always welcomed family and friends into their homes in Whittier and Corona, California. You could always count on him for lots of laughs and a delicious meal.

His last years were spent enjoying time with his family and the great-grandkids in his life. He will forever be loved and dearly missed by all his family and friends.
