It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nelson Francisco Marquez on August 18, 2026 at the age of 62. Nelson was born on September 15, 1963 in Manila, Philippines, and lived a life full of adventure, kindness, and dedication to his family.

Nelson is predeceased by his loving wife of 26 years, Carolina Toribio Marquez. He is survived by his two children, Elisha Charnel Marquez and Carlson Angelo Marquez.

Nelson touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His thoughtfulness, generosity, and compassion will be remembered forever. Nelson’s presence will be sorely missed, especially his ability to brighten any room that he walked into. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the love, warmth, and geniality that marked his life.

Services to honor Nelson’s life will be held at Saint Christopher Catholic Church, 629 S Glendora Ave., West Covina, CA 91790. The prayer vigil will be held on Friday, August 28 at 6 PM PST. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 10 AM PST. A lunch reception will follow.
