Mildred Cornell Hyde passed away on October 27, 2011. She was 89 years old. She is survived by her husband Doug, children Barry, Janet, and Brenda, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada with a Scottish heritage. She was active in the Daughters of Scotial Scottish Lodge, always maintaining her heritage. She worked and retired from the City of Torrance. She was active in many choral groups during her life. Mildred has left a legacy of love of God, family, and friends. She enjoyed a life filled with activity and laughter. She leaves many family and friends in Canada and Southern California. She will be missed by many, but will live within us forever.
