MATTIE LETHIA SCHILLER
1/13/36 – 3/16/24

Mattie Lethia Schiller of Temecula, CA, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 88.  Mattie was born in Buena Vista, Virginia on January 13, 1936.  She married William Moshos and they shared 25 years of marriage together.  They divorced in 1978.

Mattie lived a long life filled with cherished moments with her family and friends.  She had a passion for poetry writing; creating many lovely pieces that will be treasured by her loved ones.  Mattie also enjoyed family events, travel, reading, arts and crafts and shopping.

Mattie married Norman Schiller and shared 24 happy years together before his death in November 2006.  Mattie's legacy lives on through her children, Dianne Erland and Michael (Ruthie) Moshos (her son Wiliam Moshos preceded her in death on December 20, 2015), also her legacy lives on in her stepchildren, John Schiller, Nola (Lee) Tainter, Heidi (Lennie) Hollingsworth and Tad (Jennifer) Schiller.  She is survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  Mattie is also survived by her brother, Albert Rowsey.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.  Mattie's faith was her strength.  She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Temecula, CA.  Mattie will be deeply missed.  May she rest in peace knowing she will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
