Obituary for Marijean Piorkowski, PT, DPT, MS

Marijean Piorkowski, age 78, passed away on June 14, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1943.

Marijean Piorkowski, physical therapist, mentor, friend to so many, yachts woman, traveler, and golfer, passed away June14,2022, in Temecula, CA, after a brief hospitalization.

Marijean was preceded in death by her husband John Piorkowski of Temecula in 2016, and her sister Michele La Clergue Aldrich of Hatfield, MA, in 2016. She is survived by her brother Ric (Richard), wife Karen and son Daniel, from Mountain Home, Idaho, and her brother Ron (Ronald), wife Lisa, and daughters Alex and Avery, from Maui, and brother-in-law Mark Aldrich of Hatfield, MA.

If you were blessed to be among the many people who knew Marijean, you understand how special she was. Her desire was to not have any services after her death. A scholarship fund was set up at Cerritos College upon her retirement in 2010 to honor her and to continue to support Cerritos College PTA students.
