Maria Graciela De La Torre, a longtime resident of Temecula, California, passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 73. Graciela was born on November 12, 1949, in La Barca, Jalisco, Mexico to Maria and Manuel Gama. Graciela is survived by her husband, Bernardo; daughter, Fatima; daughter, Jacqueline; daughter, Noemy; son, Osluan; son, Yoncey; son, Lionely; and daughter, Anaiz. She was also the grandmother of 21 grandchildren and the great-grandmother of 2 great grand-daughters.

Her entire life was dedicated to two things: God and her family. She had a love for gardening and had a remarkable green thumb. She was an amazing cook and a mother to all who entered her house. No one left her house with an empty stomach. When she was not with her family, you would find Graciela at St. Catherine's. She was a Faith Formation teacher for the Spanish speaking classes for many years, was a part of the Eucharistic Ministry, belonged to the Purisima Concepcion Group, and a woman's prayer group. She would also volunteer to help the Woman's Guild when they needed someone to cook or serve food. She would also volunteer to wash the Corporal linen and was a very active volunteer in the San Vicente Ministry Pantry. If it was the first Friday of the month, you would be guaranteed to find Graciela at the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Graciela was a loving, caring person, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend; always thinking of others first. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Rosary and Virgil will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 4:30pm to 8:00pm at England Family Mortuary 27135 Madison Ave Temecula, CA  92590

Rosary will begin at 6:30pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church 41875 C St. Temecula, CA 92592
