Kenzel Donovan, 29, of Temecula, California, was received into the kingdom of heaven on July 5, 2024. Kenzel was the cherished son of Tammy Fernandes Donovan of Los Angeles, California, and Don Donovan of Temecula, California. He was the beloved grandson of the late Velma and John (Apple Tree) Fernandes and is survived by his grandmommy, Verna Walker of New Jersey. He was also preceded in death by his grandad, Rodney Walker.

Kenzel is survived by his loving siblings Doniel, Byron, and Darryl, along with his sister-in-law Kate, all of San Diego, California. He was a proud and doting uncle to his two nephews, Miles and Anderson. Kenzel was a devoted "dog dad" to his beloved Zoey, who brought immense joy to his life.

Kenzel's family includes his deeply cherished uncle and godfather, Ed Lamhing of Ohio, and his dear aunt, Angie Caldwell of Georgia. Numerous cousins across the states, Jamaica and The Cape Verde Islands.

Kenzel gave his life to the Lord and was baptized on September 4, 2022. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a God-fearing man who inspired many with his strong beliefs and kind heart. He proudly served honorably in the United States Army as an Aviation Operation Specialist, where his dedication and pride in his role were evident.

He was passionate about football and was a huge Raiders fan, known for his infectious sense of humor and the joy he brought to everyone around him. Kenzel's radiant spirit and love for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A celebration of Kenzel's life will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 3-5 pm at England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Ave, Temecula, California 92590.
