Obituary

Kenny was born in New York on June 22, 1967. He later moved to California and resided there. In 1994 he married Regina Valdez and became a homeowner in 1995. Kenny worked as an officer for the Los Angeles Department of Public Safety from 1991 to 1999. In 1999 he left his Public Safety career to embark in a new adventure in cable installation to be able to spend quality time with his new born daughter and his wife. In 1997 he gave his life to Christ and became an amazing godly man on fire for the things of the Lord. He chose to be born again, and therefore chose eternal life. He enjoyed serving on his home church and attending Tuesday and Sunday services. Even though he didn't have an example of a father figure in his life, he was an extraordinary father. He strived to live by example for his daughter and supported every decision that would lead her to a successful life. In 2006 he landed a Geek Squad position at Best Buy. He consistently strived to honor his position by doing his best. He prided himself in leaving work knowing that he helped his customers. He was a hard worker and consistently gave 100 percent to his professions. In addition to his professions, he embarked on a 5 year education plan in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. In 2014 he graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Summa Cum Laude. In 2019 he was blessed to land a Computer Information Systems job and was excited by the opportunities for growth that this company would offer. Aside from serving in his home church, he enjoyed podcast, guns, and music. He was currently a producer and editor for the Firearms Network. He was loved and appreciated by everyone in the Firearms Network community. But most of all, he had a sense of humor that could light up any room. A kid at heart who is finally whole again...he went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2020. He was survived by his wife, Regina Ortega; his daughters, Jazriel Ortega and Stephanie Jacobo; and his mother, Emmy Arroyo. His survivors are rejoicing for the eternal amazing life he is living in heaven. HE WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED BY HIS KIND HEART AND CONTAGIOUS PERSONALITY...
