Obituary

Kenneth Anderson was born in Brainerd, MN. He was the oldest of 8 children. He loved to fish and hunt. He had a trap line at the age of 13 and 14 to sell fur to help his family during the Depression.

At age 18, he joined the Army, which he loved. They were going to make him a sergeant and range shooter. His dad wanted him to return home, though, to help with his sign-painting business. Later, he worked for the railroad, eventually following the rest of the family out to CA. On the way, hitchhiking his way back, he got a job at Yellowstone N.P. for the summer.

He met his first wife, Theresa, in LA and had a daughter, Karen. He worked at Paramount Studios as a grip for a while. He took flying lessons. He loved archery and golf. He loved classic cars and restored many.

Later, he married his second wife, Beverly, and had a daughter, Kellie. He worked as a machinist at Aerojet. He was a jack of all trades.

He also loved exercising, bodybuilding, collecting coins, antique guns, camping, the high desert, astronomy, stargazing, and especially photography. He lived with his mother for many years. Later, he moved to the high desert and loved it there for 24 years. He loved animals and always had a dog. He loved joking and visiting with family but also loved solace. He always had a sense of humor and liked to make people laugh!

He was blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, wishing he could have seen them more.

He always was practical and to the point, encouraging people to speak up for themselves and protect themselves. He loved America and was a patriot. He joked, “I don't know if the rest of ya are gonna make it to 96!”

We miss & love ya Dad, hope ya made it to that next dimension! To Infinity & Beyond!!!
