Julie Chodos Drea, born August 4, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away suddenly on May 10, 2024, in Temecula, California. She is survived by her beloved husband Peter Drea, stepson Colin (Lindsey) Drea, siblings John (Renee) Chodos, David (Janet) Chodos, Jennifer (Rick) Thie, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Joyce Chodos.

Julie and her family moved to the Kalamazoo, Michigan area when Julie was five years old. After attending Portage Schools, the family moved to Mattawan, MI. Julie was a proud member of Mattawan Class of 1975. She was so happy to have reconnected with many of her classmates in the last few years. Julie graduated from Hope College and went on to have a long career with Dunn and Bradstreet. She moved several times for work, living in Arizona and Oregon briefly before settling in California, where she met Peter. Her last position before retirement was as a training director, conducting corporate fraud seminars. She loved training, and with her lively personality and quick wit, she excelled at it.

Julie dealt with several significant health issues for many years yet was determined to bounce back each time. Even as she continued to lose her health, she kept finding things to bring her joy and to keep her connected to those she loved. Her latest hobby was to make cooking videos and share them with friends and family. She loved decorating her home and enjoying her beautiful roses and citrus trees. She had many fur babies over the years, including  several rescues. She so enjoyed spoiling them rotten!

A memorial service to celebrate Julie's life will be held on August 3, 2024, at
England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Ave., Temecula, CA 92590. Visitation
will be at 11:00 a.m. and the service will begin at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
