Joyce (Joy) Blaire Kee Freckmann, age 72, Murrieta, California, passed away on March 25, 2013. Joy was born in Cook County, Illinois on January 11, 1941. Joy moved to California in 1983. Joy worked at Progressive Management Systems for 17 years in Client Relations. She made many life-long friends along the way. When not relaxing to Family Feud, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune, she could be found playing her favorite slots at Pechanga and Pauma Casino. She was very close with her family and loved spending time with them. She prided herself on always being 'chipper' and her spirit remained strong to the very end. Joy is survived by her children, Tracy Lyons, Julie Schoettler, and David Schoettler, her brothers Chuck Kee and Jim Kee, her grandchildren, Angela Schoettler, Kyle Schoettler, Matthew Schoettler, Ashley Lyons, and Haley Lyons, and other family and friends. Joy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Kee, and her eldest son, Christopher Schoettler. A memorial service for immediate family will be held at England Family Mortuary.
