Joseph B. Miller Jr., born September 18, 1944, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, lived a life defined by service and dedication. He spent his early years in Mississippi before moving to Arizona after ninth grade, a change that would shape his future. In 1962, he began a distinguished military career, serving honorably in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Coast Guard, and ultimately the United States Navy.

He leaves behind his wife, Julia Miller; his eldest child, Jessica; his youngest daughter, Jennifer; and his grandchildren— Josh, JT, Jordan, Julian, and Ilias— who were a great source of pride for him. His commitment to his country and his steadfast character will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him.
