John 'Mel' Davison died at home on November 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Esther; daughter Cheri (Joe); son Ron (Sandi); grandchildren Meagan, Tegan, Blake, and Jordan; great-granddaughter Haven; and brother Maurie. A visitation and celebration of life will be held at England Family Chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Visitation is from 10:00am until 12:45pm. Military honors will be presented at 1:00pm with a celebration of life to follow immediately afterwards. Mel will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 25, 2013. Family and friends will gather at Staging Area 1.
