Joan Marie Thacker, age 93, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on February 23, 1932.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.

In loving memory of Joan, whose life was a quiet blessing and whose love will remain with us always.

Joan lived a life filled with love, grace, and quiet strength. She found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments from tending her gardens, singing from her heart, playing the piano, and, most of all, cherishing her family.

She was a devoted mother to her daughters and their husbands, Sharon & Bill, Janet & Dean and her son and his wife Kenny & Jeanie. She loved and cherished her seven grandchildren (Sheila, Nicholas, Travis, Jason, Daniel, Andrew, & Allen) and nine great grandchildren (Scott, Madison, Cadence, Ethan, Hailey, Avalon, Emily, Victoria, & Lillian), a loving aunt and beloved her surviving sisters Charlotte Betancourt & Nancy Corcoran. 

Her love will continue to live on through her family and all who knew her.

For the grace of God, there goes Joan - now at peace, her work here is complete her spirit resting in eternal light. Her memory will remain in every song, every blooming flower, and every loving moment shared. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
