Jesse Consorcio Bayani, 78

Born on July 19, 1946, in Manila, Philippines, Jesse spent most of his life in San Diego and Temecula, California. He peacefully passed away in Murrieta, California, on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his beloved wife, daughters, siblings, nieces, and nephews.

In the 1970s, he served in the U.S. Army before dedicating 53 years to his career as a flight attendant with PSA, USAir, and American Airlines. Throughout his career, Jesse cultivated lifelong friendships and a sense of adventure, traveling to over 20 countries working the same routes with his closest friends. During layovers, they enjoyed experiencing new cultures through cuisine and sightseeing. Italy, Germany, and Spain were among his favorite destinations.

A devoted fan of the Padres and Chargers, Jesse also loved Old Western and Kung Fu movies and trips to the casino. He had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and an infectious sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His warmth and quick wit made every moment unforgettable—he delighted in playfully teasing friends and family, always aiming to spark a smile or fill the room with laughter.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Charito; daughters, Nicole (Ed) of Chicago and Chantel; seven siblings, Elvie (Reny), Nestor, Vangie (Steve), Pablo Jr., Eve (Tom), Joe (Cathi), and Jon (Kara); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mario Jimmy, and his parents, Pablo and Aurora.

His legacy of laughter, generosity, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
