On October 13, 2019 the matriarch of our family, Hazel MaeVene Parker, went home to be with our Lord. To know her was to love her. God created this strong, sassy woman who fought many physical ailments. She moved from Arkansas to California, created a new life with her husband, Jim, and later three beautiful daughters. We take joy in knowing that our mother is now with our father, Jim. She taught us to love the Lord, make family a priority, and never give up. She leaves behind her daughters, Cheryl Johring, Teresa (Ken) Wood, and Renita (Jack) Ferguson; grandchildren Jim Johring, Jessica (Matt) Radke, Tim (Yvonne) Ferguson, Brent Wood, and Kristin (Bryan) Holtzendorff. She was blessed, too, with great-grandchildren Richie Roe, Emily Roe, Ellory Ferguson, Jack Ferguson, and Ezra Ferguson.
