Obituary

Frank Michael Hallberg. Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, son-in-law and brother-in-law, friend, 50 years old passed away on December 12, 2018 after a long, courageous battle against cancer. Frank was born May 22, 1968, in Iowa to Lola Humpal Hallberg and the late Mark Hallberg. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23-1/2 years, Tammy Hartley Hallberg who never left his side during his tremendously courageous fight against cancer. The love they shared was strong, true, and one most everyone strives to have. He is also survived by his dear mother, Lola, and three brothers: Daniel, John, and Richard; as well as several nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. Frank's work ethic was beyond compare. Through the years he worked construction, many double shifts at Disney World in Orlando (where he met his beloved Tammy), selling cars and being recognized as Salesman of the Month numerous times. He took pride in helping grow and manage "Dent Wizard" in Florida from the early 1990s to 2006. Frank was an entrepreneur, starting with an Italian pizza restaurant, a smoothie franchise and eventually moving to the unknown world of California where he opened and operated an Interior Magic Franchise. His ultimate dream was to own and operate a sports restaurant and bar named after him. In 2015 he opened Franklin's Cove in Murrieta, CA. Although Frank was diagnosed with cancer shortly after taking the ownership of Franklin's Cove, he and Tammy worked diligently to make it an enjoyable place. He worked through the treatments and kept a positive attitude. He truly shined and loved every moment of his dream business of Franklin's Cove. His staff and guests were affectionately known as "The Cove Family." All who knew Frank will never forget his infectious smile, his gorgeous blue eyes, and positive attitude and energy. Frank refused to allow the cancer nor its treatments to damper his courageous attitude nor his love for life. Our world is a much sadder place without Frank, but his spirit in all who knew and loved him will live on and, as Frank would always say, "No worries!"
