Temecula resident, Ewald 'Eddie' von Kanel died on July 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Aura and their children: E. Martin and wife Debbie; Alfred J. and wife Shelley; and Carmen A. Phillips and husband John. The von Kanels are blessed with 8 grandchildren: Grant, Scott, Hannah, Blake, Dylan, Charlie, Tommie, and Henry.
