Doris lived much of her life in New Jersey but moved to San Diego these last 10 years at the urging of her family.  She was one of 13 children survived by her sister Frances (102 years old), husband Jerry, son Paul, daughter-in-law Colleen, granddaughters Kelly and Audrey, grandson-in-law T.J., numerous nieces and nephews.  Doris was instrumental in caring for several people who had no close family, providing them with love and compassion during their end-of-life. Her favorite pastime was dancing. Family was most important followed by true friends. Though Doris greatly missed her friends from New Jersey, she was blessed with new friends in her neighborhood in Winchester. She was friendly, warm and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

A funeral Mass has been scheduled for Monday, the 23^rd of June at 10:30, at St Gregory The Great Catholic church, 11451 Blue Cypress Drive in San Diego. PLEASE WEAR BRIGHT COLORS TO HONOR DORIS. A reception will follow. Please inform the family if you plan to attend the reception or call 858-405-9065 and leave a message.
