Dora Angeline Philp was born on February 3, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. Dora passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Temecula, California. She was 95 years old.

Both of her parents, Rose and Pierre, immigrated to the United States the 1920’s. 

Dora had one sister (Rosanne) and three brothers (Louis, Robert, and Pierre). She is survived by her sister, two children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. 

Dora was married to James Buckingham Philp in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 66 years. They raised two children together Karen Marie Philp, James Bryant Philp.

During their time together, they lived in Chicago, Illinois// Glenshaw, Pennsylvania// Fullerton, California// and Temecula, California. During her work life, she managed a pre-school for many years.
