Dawn Sheree Hatfield, 54, of Temecula, CA., passed away on July 18, 2012, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in Milford, Massachusetts, on August 4, 1957. She attended Boston's Vesper George School of Art with a focus in commercial art and illustration. She met Ron Hatfield while they were working on the assembly line at the General Motors factory in Framingham, MA, and they married in 1984. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She understood the value of a stay at home parent long before it became common knowledge. She raised three children and dedicated much of her time to the PTSA and art programs at their schools; she was a founding member of the Great Oak High School PTSA and was an accomplished painter and crafter, and carefully nurtured a love of the arts and humanities in her children. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ron; three children, Ian, Rachel, and Julia; her parents, Frank DeRose and Edna Roberts; her sisters, Jean and Deborah; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at England Family Mortuary, Temecula, at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Temecula Cemetery.
