David Harold
Strandberg
December 30, 1939 – March 24, 2026
David Harold Strandberg, 86, of Temecula, California, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California. He was born on December 30, 1939, in Anchorage, Alaska.
After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines, David worked for Chevron USA, with responsibility for the company's southwestern division. He retired from Chevron after 34 years, and later served as a project manager for O'Connor Construction Management.
David is preceded in death by his daughter Lissa. He is survived by his spouse Carol, his children Matt (Dana) and Tom (Heather), two brothers Steve (Diana) and Doug (Paulette), as well as several grandchildren (Joshua, Calista, Morgan, Avery, Owen).
David built a life anchored in love and kindness, and leaves behind a legacy that his family will carry forward; he was a frequent donor to the American Red Cross, taught his children the value of hard work and "doing things right the first time", and consistently demonstrated generosity. Above all, David’s heart belonged to his wife of 52 years. From the moment they met, he cherished her with a steadfast love that only grew stronger through the decades. Standing by her side through life’s challenges, David’s devotion was evident to all who knew them. Their marriage was a living example of partnership, respect, and joy, which inspired their children and everyone blessed to witness it.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a monetary donation to the American Red Cross, or help another individual directly by donating blood.
