David H. Snow, 82, of Temecula, California, passed away on April 18, 2026.
David was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and moved to California at the age of 11. He spent most of his life in Southern California, with the last 15 years in Temecula.
David began his career in wine sales and distribution before taking over Dan Stamis Wholesale Florist when his father-in-law was no longer able to continue in the business. He later founded Snow Wholesale, and over the course of 38 years, became a well-known and respected presence at the Los Angeles Flower Market.
Above all, David was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ellen Snow; his daughters, Carolyn and her husband Mark, Christine and her husband Andre, Adrienne and her husband Jack; and his son Matt and his wife Tina. He was a proud grandfather to Spencer, Callista, Adam, Benjamin, Chloe, Sophia, and Hudson. He is also survived by his sisters, Maureen and Patti.
David was known for his wit, charm, and generosity. He had an all-time sense of humor—quick, sharp, and always ready with a joke. He loved to laugh and brought that joy to those around him. David was truly a larger-than-life character, someone who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a rare ability to turn any conversation into a meaningful connection.
Though David came from humble beginnings, he accomplished so much in his life. He was always willing to help others, share what he had, and lift people up along the way. He carried a deep sense of gratitude for how his life turned out, and that appreciation was evident in how he treated everyone around him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his wife and family were at the center of his life.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The world has truly lost one of the very best.
