David Mark Hodges, age 54, of Murrieta, CA passed away on August 11, 2018. He died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer at Kaiser Hospital in Moreno Valley. Born July 6, 1964 to Kathryn and Donald Hodges in Montclair, Ca. Husband to Christine Demetrion-Hodges, father of Christian Demetri Hodges, Kenyon "Niko" King, and Alexis Blythe King. He will be missed by sisters Terry Brown, Robin Welker, Brenda Bell and their families. David is best remembered for being the "go to guy" when people were in need of getting something fixed, repaired, or built. David was always brainstorming and creating things in his garage. He was a dedicated father, volunteering throughout his children's academic careers ranging from room parent, cheer and band dad, to Science Olympiad Mentor. He always supported school, specifically the special needs students building and modifying items and equipment to improve their lives. David served on Parish Council for St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and leaves behind many of his secretly signed projects to be used and enjoyed by parishioners. When he was asked if he was happy he would say, "Yes, I'm a rich man because of my family." A Celebration of Life will be held at England Family Mortuary on Sept. 7th, 2018 beginning at 2 with a reception following at the Hodges home.
