With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Daniel Quinn Kyzer who passed away at age 62 on March 5, 2026 in Murrieta, California where he lived for the past 24 years. He was born on July 21, 1963 in Long Beach, California the third of four siblings. After growing up in Long Beach, his family moved to Utah where he spent the majority of his adolescent and early adult years. In 1993, Daniel returned to live in Southern California and married Tamera Kunz, whom he had met in 1985. He had a strong work ethic and worked for the Shell Oil Company for 33 years, first as a truck driver and then as a plant operator, before retiring in 2020.

As a child and teenager, he raced motocross with his older brother. He continued to enjoy keeping up with motocross racing as well as NASCAR and Formula One racing. He had a passionate love for rock and blues music and enjoyed his robust collection of music CDs. He enjoyed learning about history and science. He was a fan of science fiction, particularly Star Trek and The Twilight Zone.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father Johnny Lee Richard Kyzer and his mother Martiny Emo Kyzer. He is survived by his wife Tamera, his three children, Brandon, Melissa, and Michael, and his three siblings, sisters Joyce and Nancy and brother Richard.

Daniel was a caring man who touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a loving son, brother, husband and father who devoted himself to his family. He will be deeply missed.

The viewing and funeral will be held Thursday, March 19 in Temecula, CA at the England Family Mortuary located at 27135 Madison Ave, Temecula, CA 92590. The viewing begins at 9 AM and the funeral at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Cemetery at 42800 Ivy St, Murrieta, CA 92562. There will be a reception/luncheon back at England Family Mortuary at 12 PM.
