Obituary

Craig William Bulmer, age 67, passed on September 22, 2026.

Craig was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Bulmer; his children, Daniel Bulmer, Alexandria Martinez, and Gillian Erwin; his grandchildren, Michael and Stella; his mother, Sonia Bulmer; and his sister, Sherry Cosgrove.

Craig proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years as a corpsman. After his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and a Master of Science degree in Electronic Commerce from National University. He then worked as a network engineer for 20 years before retiring.

Craig was a Christian.

Outside of work and service, Craig found some of his greatest happiness in the simple things he shared with those he loved. He and Lisa enjoyed cruising together and taking getaways to La Quinta with friends. He especially valued picking up his grandson from school and spending time with his family. He also cherished spending time with his beloved corgis, who brought him much joy and companionship.

Craig had a wonderful sense of humor and loved funny old sayings and T-shirts that reflected his grumpy, witty personality. He enjoyed watching the History Channel, Hallmark movies, HGTV, Magnolia Network, and the sci-fi channel, especially programs featuring ghost hunters. These interests brought him comfort, entertainment, and many opportunities to share a laugh with those around him.

Those who knew Craig knew that he could be grumpy and prickly on the outside, but beneath that tough exterior was a deeply loving and caring man. His humor, personality, loyalty, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Craig leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of service, perseverance, love, and devotion to his family. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the people whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring Craig’s life and military service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on November 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Following the service, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the home of Lisa Bulmer in Rowland Heights, California.
