Christine Moniz (Luna), of Murrieta, California, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Fallbrook, California, at the age of 79. Christine was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and godmother.

Christine was known for her love of the Blessed Mother, her vibrant personality, and her selfless generosity. She was outgoing, funny, and had a passion for jigsaw puzzles and the game of Mahjong.

She is survived by her daughter Joelle Moniz, son Christopher Moniz, daughter-in-law Mary Lou Moniz, her cherished granddaughter Mollie Moniz, sisters Vivian Luna, Delphine Matti, and brothers Carl Luna, Thomas Luna, Ronald Luna and James Luna.

Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry Moniz, brothers Martin Luna, Gregory Luna, Albert R. Luna, father Albert E. Luna, and mother Ruth Luna.

Christine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
