Obituary

Bryan was born to Monty and Jackie on October 24, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA. He has an older brother, Chris. As Chris recalls, there were a few fights here and there but Bryan was able to hold his own. The family moved to Silverado Canyon and Bryan joined up with a group of marginal kids who called themselves the Canyon Rats. Bryan and his gang excelled in shenanigans and hijinks. Bryan lost his dad as a teenager in a tragic accident. His mom remarried a man named Howard, who became a fatherly role model to him.

He had many jobs in his early life. But, he worked hard and started his own painting business. While it started off with many bumps and bruises, his hard work paid off and the business was highly successful in the Temecula Valley for the last 35 years.

When Bryan met the love of his life, Roxanne, in January of 1984, he had no idea the wonderful life that awaited them. Together they raised two great daughters. Later in life, they had many opportunities to travel throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

His daughters, Brandi and Heidi, have fond memories of him allowing them to have chocolate milk with dinner when Mom was away at night school, against Mom's rules. They each had a loving father/daughter relationship with their dad.

Bryan earned the role of Grandpa in 2013 and again in 2014. Grandpa was his favorite title. He found any excuse to spend time with his granddaughters, Ivy and Olivia. He never missed an opportunity to take the girls for donuts or play a game of big bad wolf.

Bryan made the most of his life, showing kindness and generosity to many. He demonstrated what commitment to marriage means and how to live with a whole bunch of girls all while keeping his sense of humor.

While we mourn the loss of Bryan, we know how fortunate we all were to be a part of his life, which was well lived. He ran the race and finished strong.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.
