Brenda Joyce Vance passed away peacefully on Friday August 18, 2023.

Born on August 8, 1947, in Savannah Georgia to Luther and Mary (Buchan) McKenzie. Brenda was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who know her.  She worked as a Software Engineer until she retired. She enjoyed writing poetry, her famous poodle Hershey and spending time with her family. Let's not forget cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Webb and her service dog Hershey.

Brenda will be dearly missed by her husband and best friend of 55 years, William Vance. Her brother Larry McKenzie and sister Suzi Pyles.   Her daughters and their spouses Sonya Yasack (Frank), Teresa Brubaker (Lars), Michele Stacy (Kevin) and Heather Black (Adam), 14 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Brenda's name to  the California-Hawaii Major Project Incorportated.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.
