Alberta Isabel Ray Merrow passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 98 years. She was born Alberta Isabel Hume on December 18, 1921. Her friends knew her as "Izzy" and her kids all called her "Noni." Although she was a longtime resident of the Temecula / Murrieta Valley, she was originally from Wilder, Idaho. Her family came to Southern California and made their home in Bakersfield. She met and married Arthur Jack Ray and they had four children: Michael, Peggy, Patrick, and Kathleen. Jack preceded her in death and she re-married Cordon Merrow, who is also deceased. She and Jack came to the Temecula Valley in 1974 where she worked with The Rancon Real Estate organization. Many of her friends that she made there are still in the area. She is forever with her Heavenly Father. To honor her memory, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valleys.
