Long Beach resident, Alan Wortman, died on October 15, 2011 at the age of 84 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Arlene. Alan was an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry by profession as well as a U. S. Navy veteran. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Long Beach Church of Christ, 3707 Atlantic Ave. at 12:30pm.
