William “Bill” Casler, 94 went to be with our Lord on November 29, 2018 in Murrieta, California. He was the husband of Dorothy Dell Casler. Born in Springwells, Michigan on September 13, 1924, he was the son of Ruth Moore and Ellwood Casler. Bill and Dottie married August 24, 1946 in Dearborn Michigan and were married for 71 years. They had 3 sons. Bill served as a Pharmacist Mate in WW11. While in Guadalcanal he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He graduated from Lincoln Christian College. He was a Preacher, a Teacher, and a Family Marriage & Child Counselor. He attended the Church of Christ in Murrieta and City Christian Church in Menifee, California. He loved traveling, missionary work, his church and friends, camping, playing his trumpet, and watching baseball especially the Dodgers. He will be remembered for his dedication to God, his love of family and friends, and his passion to serve others. He is survived by his brother Robert Casler, children: Ken (Christine) Casler, Keith (Shirley) Casler, and Kerry (Sharon) Casler, 8 grandchildren: Lisa (Jean-Baptiste) Henry, Jeremy Casler, Rachelle Geach, Wendy (John) Lewis, Megan (Kyle) Casler, Laura (Andrew) Schlaf, Kimberly Brown, and Mark (Jamie) Casler, and 16 great grandchildren: Matthias, Romain, and Alice Henry, Manishane Casler, Madalin, Dylan, and Ava Lewis, Cassandra, Mackenzie, Jacquelyn, and Benjamin Schlaf, Luke and Logan Brown, Jude, Miles and Callie Casler. “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?
