Sonja Wolf

Sonja was born October 25, 1925, 7th of 10 children born to Pete and Varsinek Kasparoff, in Santa Fe Springs, California. She is survived by her sister Marion and brothers Louie and Joe. Married John Sands shortly after WW11 ended and had 4 children: Johnnie (Loretta), Connie (Steve), Robert (Carolyn), & Mike (Debbie). They were blessed with 6 grandchildren: Melanie, Christine, Sarah, John, Mike, and Joe and 11 great grandchildren: Marc, Mitch, Danny, Doug, Katlynn, Jacob, Micah, Luke, Michael, Ryan, Hunter. The words from an Alan Jackson song are very appropriate in summing up our Mom’s life: Her “greatest contribution is the one’s you leave behind”. She loved her family and left a legacy that will live on for many generations. During a Bible study She and Bob Wolf (2nd Husband) were having with Mike & Debbie Sands, the Good News of the Gospel was shared with them and they both accepting Jesus into their hearts. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” 1John 5:13 gives us our assurance that we will see Mom again: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” Mom loved life, she loved her family, she loved to cook, she loved to garden, she loved sports, she loved music. The words from Alan Jackson’s song continues…(I changed it slightly to fit Mom): Finally death came calling for this beautiful lady, She said, it's alright cause I see angels and they got me by the hand, don't you cry and don't you worry I'm blessed and I know I am cause God has a place in heaven for me.
