  1. I am honored and blessed to have known your dad “Bob”, he was truly a mentor to me and was always ready advise me with sound judgment. He always welcomed me to his home, whether I was in 6th grade, on leave while in the Marine Corps, or just stopping by to say “Hi”. My tears are flowing for a friend, a great man and truly a second father to me. My sincerest and deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. All my life I will remember him for his kindness and love…..

The Measure of a man: Not – “how did he die” But – “how did he live” Not – “what did he gain” But – “what did he give” These are the units to measure the worth of a man, as a man, Regardless of birth. -Unknown author

  2. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I learn of the passing of “Mr. Morris”. I say Mr. Morris because I met Bob when I was 11 years old. I was one of four young boys, Tim, Jeff, Rod and myself who thought your father was our John Wayne. He was a real life cowboy. The four of us spent more time at your house in Rialto then we did at our own. Bob was always there to listen if we needed to talk and couldn’t talk to our own parents. Bob was also there to help with school projects like the time he helped me make a Liberty Bell by cutting a block of wood to look exactly like the real wood holding the bell. When your family moved to Murrieta, we were still welcomed each and every time we stopped by. I will never forget your dad. Especially the fact that your dad and Belinda came to my fathers funeral some 35 years after you moved away. That’s just the kind of man Bob was. Once you were a friend, you were always a friend. I know Bob carried a picture of us boys in his wallet that had to be over 40 years old. Who would do that. Bob Morris would, that’s who. In closing, I would just like to say “On a cold dark morning in the middle of May, there sat Belinda on her old Dapple Grey, waiting for her turn in the show that day…..” Bob will know.
With love and the utmost respect, Brad King. Las Vegas.

  3. Sending a snowball from Mammoth Lakes. I was just four years old when our family moved to Rialto onto Casmalia St. Shelly Parr was my first friend. She and her brother Rod and his friend Tim introduced me and my brothers Jeff and Brad to the Morris Family. Bob,Cleo,Debbie and Balinda. They had the most beautiful house on the block. It is still and always will be the most beautifull house on the block. One thing I do remember is how handsome Bob was. That was in 1967 Seeing him at my Dad’s funeral I saw he was getting better looking everyday. 15 years later seeing his obituary photo I can see I was right. A beautiful man inside and out
