Michael Wayne Taylor, 58, passed away surrounded by his love ones Saturday afternoon, December 8, 2018 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Michael was born in Dallas, Texas October 28, 1960. He described his early years as some of the most memorable times of his life. He was an exceptional student and athlete. He was admired by his peers. He was accepted to Texas Christian University on a scholarship after high school. Shortly after, he decided join the United States Navy and served 20 years of honorable service from February 28, 1980 to February 28, 2000. He served in two wars, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. He was proud of his service to his country and loved to talk about his experiences while on active duty. Michael had a big heart. His charismatic personality and welcoming smile drew people to him. He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Taylor, his six children; Joan Balagasay, Jonnalyn Dollar, Kenneth Taylor, Angela Taylor, Michele Taylor-Harris, and Diane Taylor, six grandchildren; Jasper Brides, Jayper Balagasay, Riley Dollar, Kira Taylor, Isaiah Taylor, and Trinity Taylor. As well as his mother, Daisy Taylor and brother, Earl Taylor. Michael loved his family. He worked hard to provide for them every day. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He will surely be missed for the way he made everyone feel, loved and important. He was a great man.
