Leonardo Sandoval

To our family, friends and all who would like to attend Leon Sandoval's Memorial Service, it will be held at Elsinore First Assembly in Lake Elsinore, Ca on Tuesday, September 29 at 5:00pm. It breaks my heart to have to write this for the love of my life, but Leon Sandoval was such a beautiful person inside and out. He lived everyday to be better and to make his family happy. He appreciated the beauty in life and constantly had a smile on his face. He had a heart of passion for everything he did. He was the best explorer and adventurer. He loved to enjoy good food with his loved ones, experience new things, watch the rain, go on walks with his Fiancé and son, beating people at video games with one of his best friends, Tanner. He loved playing guitar with his other two best friends, Austin and Eric and much more. He always made sure that the people around him were happy and taken care of. His life was short, but was eventful and cherished. His eyes saw the beauty in life and his heart was filled with true love. We have the most beautiful son, Vincent, and he loved us beyond measure. There was not a day he didn't express the abundance of love he had for our baby and I. He also has his mother, Silvia and sisters, Jordane, Sohpia and Cristi who he adored. His family and friends meant everything to him. We trust and believe that Vincent's daddy, my fiancé, a brother, a son, a best friend, a nephew and a son in law is the happiest he has ever been, rejoicing with the Lord and playing guitar for us and all the other angels. His legacy shall live on through our beloved son, Vincent! Thank you Leon for giving us all the chance to love you and have you in our hearts forever.. We love you.. REST IN PARADISE MY DEAREST LOVE! As a Caltrans Supervisor this loss hurts very much to us as a reminder of how dangerous it is for us on a daily basis. We choose to serve the people of California and want to return home everyday safe. I, just hours earlier had my employees in the same area as Leonardo and this just could have been one of them as well. My deepest sympathy go to Marissa and Vincent and the family of Leonardo. Please be assured that this loss will never be forgotten from our Caltrans family to yours!

I just happened to read Leonardo’s obituary and felt compelled to write. He was so young, I’m very sorry. I’m sure that time has not and will not dull your mrmory of him.
It is my hope that some thoughts from the Bible will bring you some hope, comfort and peace. It was never God’s intention that we should die. When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, he also put before them the prospect of living forever happy and in good health. (Genesis 1:28)
Our creator has not given up on that original plan..perfect live on paradise earth…even though Satan, Adam and Eve messed up (Isaiah 55:10-11)
The Bible tells us that it is Satan who is responsible for death, and not God as some would tell us. (Hebrews 2:14)
Our creator Jehovah God sent his Son Jesus Christ to ransom us from death and to destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8)
Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me will live though he dies.” (John 11:25)
With Jesus Christ enthroned as King of God’s Kingdom, resurrection of the dead – including Leonardo – and a restoration of paradise on earth is assured.
It is My hope that until that time comes, you will find hope, comfort and peace in these promises from God.
