Helen Jeanne Ward

Helen Jeanne Ward (know as "Jeannie") was born June 15, 1921 in Denver, Colorado to Margaret & David MacKenzie. She passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Her parents and sister Margaret came to California in 1932, where she went through the Pasadena City School System. Met her future husband Elton Ward, when she was in the 9th grade and he was in the 10th grade. This school relationship lasted during their high school and were married March 1940. She was predeceased by her dear Elton on March 11, 2009 and their only child Robert Elton Ward on August 1981. Survived by a niece Sheila Johnson of Upland, California and many, many precious friends. Services will be private. She will be buried with Elton at Riverside National Cemetery. Then in lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the LORD at their favorite church or favorite charity. Elton and Jeannie's favorite song was "Always Together" by Al Martino.
