Winona "Nona" Arviso age 67 passed away in Escondido, CA on January 11, 2018. Nona lived over 30 years on the Rincon Indian Reservation. She was born in Alberhill, CA on August 13, 1950. She worked for Bianchi in Temecula, CA for over 20 years before retiring. Nona enjoyed watching her tv shows especially Supernatural (she loved looking at Dean Winchester) She was obessed with Hallmark movies and love stories. She also loved all types of music and would sing-a-long even if she didn't know the words. Her famous saying was "They changed the words on me" She loved animals especially her dogs and cats. Nona was preceeded in death by her Father Lloyd Arviso Sr., Mother Rosaria "Rose" Minnich, Sisters Thelma "Looney" Miranda and Roberta "Berta" Rodriguez and Brother Wayne "Mowie" Arviso. She is survived by her son Joseph "Joey" Arviso and her daughter Catherine "Cat" Arviso. Her caretakers Micheal Molina (Nephew) and Amy Arviso (Niece). Her brothers Alfred "Chief" (LuAnn), Rodney (Jean) and Lloyd Jr (Evalia), Sister-in-Law Judy Aviso, and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Rosary will be held on Jaunary 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. at England Family Mortuary 27135 Madison Ave. Temecula, CA 92590 and Graveside services will be held on January 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Pechanga Indian Reservation Cemetary. Lunch will be served following burial at the old school house.
