Raymond James Ciok

raymond ciok
Raymond James Ciok, resident of Murrieta, formerly of Oak Ridge, New Jersey, passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 64 years. Ray was born in Bayonne, New Jersey. He was raised and attended high school in North Haledon, New Jersey. At the age of 16 he met the love of his life, Roseann Gambarella. They were inseparable from the beginning. They married in September 1972 and ten months later they welcomed their only child, Raymond James Ciok, Jr. They had a great life together in New Jersey until they followed their son to California when he was expecting their grandchild. They set up their “Hotel California” where they enjoyed the California weather by their pool. Ray worked as a precision parts machinist for various companies and was currently employed at CVC where he had worked for the previous 15 years. Ray was a private, independent person, but would make friends everywhere he went. After the loss of his beloved wife of 40 years almost six years ago, he was a little at a loss for what to do. He found his passion with his Harley and the friends he made through the HOGS group. He will be sadly missed by his only son, Ray Ciok, Jr., his daughter-in-law, Cori, and his only grandchild, Tanner. He will also be greatly missed by his mother-in-law, Josephine Gambarella; sisters-in-law, Pat Rock, Amy Hawkins, and Terry McConnell; brother-in-law, Emil Gambarella; and a multitude of nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their “Uncle Ray”. In lieu of flowers, Ray would love donations to be made in his and Roseann’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
