  3. I remember when I was younger, I was in my Aunt Linda’s kitchen and Ray was visiting with Nana from Arkansas. He was trying to help me count numbers, so he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of coins and started to let me count them. When I was all finished he said I could keep the change. I remember being so happy about that as a little girl, that it always stayed with me. As an adult Ray would share stories about life with Louie and I and we always were interested to listen. He would always have a football game or sports game on of some kind and would sit with Louie watching it on the TV, while I was busy with Nana. Ray was so good to my Nana and I loved seeing them together. We can all have peace knowing that he believed in the Lord Jesus. We will miss and love our grandpa Ray.

  4. Lord I want to thank you for this beautiful day that you have given us to celebrate the life of my grandfather today! He was and is a great man. Ray we will miss you dearly but I know you will always be with us. I loved how you would tell us stories about when you were in the military and would always give us your point of view on the world and politics. I will also, never forget when you and nana took Amber and I on an amazing summer adventure. You loved my nana dearly! Thank you Ray for being apart of our family. You will be missed but never forgotten. We love you: Charles, Lacey, Ashley, and Savannah Sutphin

  5. To Dolores and Dad’s West Coast family, thank you for your care and concern for Dad over the years. It was great of you to take him in as one of your own and help him enjoy life. We are happy that we were able to share some time with you all and wish you all the best. Mike and Joyce Flynn
