Nancy Marie Hix

nancy hix
Nancy Marie Hix, 87, survived her best friend and husband for 49 long days. She gave him time to get settled in, then went home to heaven and joined him where she belongs on March 3, 2018. Nancy was not just a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – she was the heart and soul of our family! She married her best friend and soul mate, Ronald Duane Hix Sr. on September 27, 1952. Their love and devotion to each other was undeniable, a very special bond which no man could hinder… She gave Ron 8 children and raised them with a Godly heart. She was a grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 11, she loved and adored each as her own. God gave Nancy the strength and guidance to hold up, nurture and teach her family how to be strong, how important it is to stay together, to love with compassion, have patience when there isn’t any, how to be brave and strong when your days are just too long… Nancy was a very modest woman and needed of nothing. The most amazing woman we’ve ever known! After raising their family, Nancy began taking adventures. From flying in small planes to parasailing. Never would she pass up a day at the casino, her smile at a slot machine was priceless! You could always count on her to make you laugh, being silly, telling her jokes, just poking fun to make you smile. Nancy’s true joy in life was her family, seeing them happy and taking pride in the amazing people that they have become from her tender loving hand! Nancy was truly a gift of life! She will live in our hearts, our homes, and our lives forever! Until we are called home to join her, we know she will still be here with us.. Nancy’s family will be holding a service for her at St. Steven’s Roman Catholic Parish located at 24827 S Dobson Rd, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 on April 4, 2018 at 11:00 am. Celebration of Life immediately following mass at family’s house. The family gratefully declines donations, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted at http://www.englandfamilymortuary.com

  1. Offering my deepest sympathy to the family. May having faith in the loving promises of our Heavenly Father, such as knowing that we can see our loved ones again, bring your heart the peace and comfort you now need. 1Th 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.
