Lolita Galon Padi

lolita padi
On Sunday, August 13, 2017 Lolita Padi joined her creator after a year-long of battle with cancer. She was born on November 11, 1947 in Camarines Sur Philippines. Lolita is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rodolfo, daughters Shyrell and Melanie, son-in-law Roner, granddaughter Sophia Renae (Iya), brothers Leopoldo, Arnulfo, Desiderio and Arnel, sisters Lydia, Elizabeth and Emelita and many loving cousins, nephews and nieces. She had a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Elementary Education. In 2010, she retired after 25 years of teaching in a private Catholic School in the Philippines and soon migrated to the United States. Lolita enjoys cooking, word find books, crocheting and watching her Filipino soap operas. But what gives her the most happiness is spending time with her “apo” Iya. She made sure we all know Iya was no. 1 on her list. Each night she would pray her Novenas and Rosary. She was a devotee of Mother of Perpetual Help and Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. Lolita was the family matriarch and her generosity and compassion have made people love her even more. She devoted her life in taking care of her children and husband who had Parkinsons disease and dementia; until she herself was diagnosed with Liver Cancer. Lolita held on to her faith and hoped for a miracle and when it didn’t come, she fully accepted her fate and surrendered everything to the Lord. Her family would like to thank everyone who extended their love, care and support. For all the prayers and assistance they have given. Her last days were filled with only love. It is comforting to know she did not have any pain and passed peacefully in her sleep at home. Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 9:00-11:00 AM at England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Ave., Temecula, CA 92590. Funeral Service and Reception will follow.
